Good news.
We sold the 2010 Mustang 4.0L V6 engine and the 5 speed automatic transmission today on Ebay. I am hopeful that we will have other parts and pieces that our buyer can use for his 2010 Mustang project.
Okay, so tell me that again.... Let me see if I got that straight..we're buying a brand new 2010 Mustang and gutting it...to make another Mustang drag car...but not just any drag car...another Cobra Jet??

Today, Brian, from J and J Glass removed all the glass. He did a great job, it all came out clean, no breakage. Now, we are ready to have the roll cage installed.
I'll let you know when that happens. Looks like we may have a couple of weeks off.
So far, I've got some people interested in the 2010 Mustang V6 4.0 engine, the 2004 5.3L LS Chevy engine and the 2010 Mustang 5 speed auto transmission 5R55S that we have listed on Ebay.

August 20, 2010, Friday
Just so you don't think that "we " are only working on this project on the weekend, I'll fill you in on some of the things we have been doing Monday through Friday.
Monday, we confirmed the order for Ford Racing parts, and they should be available in 2 to 3 weeks.
Confirmed an order for the roll cage from Watson Engineering.
Tuesday, Adam called Strange, and we have the rear end and brakes on order.
Wednesday, I talked with Scott from J and J Glass to confirm that his company will come here and remove all the glass from the Mustang and re-install it when we need that done.
Also, we received delivery of the roll cage from Watson Engineering, they manufactured and installed the roll cages in the 50 2010 Mustang Cobra Jets.
Thursday, we received the 2010 Workshop Manuals. We need this to make sure that any interior parts are removed correctly with out damage, to be sold.
Friday...Well, today is Friday, and it's still early...think I'll go shopping....
